Did you ever think that just by going to the cinema could earn you a free flight? IT CAN!
I went to the cinema in July to see the new Spider-man movie (awesome btw) and was delighted to come home and see my avios balance increase as a result of going to the Odeon Cinema!
For now on, whenever you use one of your debit or credit cards linked to any avios account, you'll earn a whopping 10 avios points per €/£ you spend!
PITFALL WARNING: Avios are ONLY available for purchases made at the cinema so anything online is EXCLUDED!
The best part is, it all just happens automatically! Use your card, see the movie and in a couple of days you'll see your points.
My friend and I went on a Friday so we paid full price for our tickets plus we hadn't had dinner yet so we double downed at the concession. In total we spent €80 on my card which earned me 800 avios.
When you factor in that the average economy avios reward flight is only 4000 points, after a couple more trips I'll be doing the Flamingo all the way to Bar-ssell-ona! (Barcelona in a Spanish accent)
